This was a piece I did for a story / world building project. It's the moment in the story when the female and the guy beside her are trapped behind a stone wall, under heavy fire from the enemy, when suddenly the woman's pilot friend swoops in a blows the bad guys to hell. The guy sitting next to the girl is an FBI agent, so this takes place in present time, but with some characters from the future. It also takes place at the Green Bank radio telescope in West Virginia.

I wanted to create an epic feel to this scene by using intense coloring and a different angle than I usually use. It's painted 100% in Photoshop.
